Start Over, Begin Again

Isaiah 48: 6
Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Revelation 21:5
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

In all these verses God shows us He has a keen interest in making things new again. He loves to take things and people and turn around everything from loss to gain , from failing to winning.


1 Corinthians 1:27-28
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

Through the things you have suffered in life you may feel foolish, confused, weak, debased and even hated, however you should rejoice because your life has become an instrument for God to show His Glory through the new changes He is going to bring about in your life. You have been chosen for change.

Jesus said:

Matthew 5:11-12
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Many of you suffered under the hand of another person and were abused verbally, physically, and even sexually. Take heart, God has heard your cry and He is racing to you to bring you a fresh start and a new way of life; however you have to do your part.

The Bible says:

Philippians 3:13
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

You have to let go of the past in order to reach for your future, so start today, start over, begin again!
